One of Christchurch's last remaining historic bike stores, Cycle Trading Co. opened in 1943 on the corner of Manchester & Armagh St and has been selling & servicing the bikes of thousands of cantabrians for over 80 years. Previously owned by the legendary late Keith Guthrie for most of it's history, he left a lasting impact on the Christchurch bike community and was the man to ask about questions relating to antique bicycles. If you had an older bicycle or needed something unusual, you went to see Keith at Cycle Trading.

Cycle Trading Co. has entered a new chapter in it's history and is now owned by Rick Lamb. We continue to stock unusual or unique products, from handmade Belgian Achielle bicycles to Cerchio Ghisallo wooden rims as well as significant used & NOS retro & antique parts. Our workshop still retains many of the specialist and rare tools required to work on vintage bicycles and our mechanics carry the knowledge and skills to service these bikes the way they deserve.
