Prefer to pedal? Hire one of our standard (non-electric) bikes for exploring Christchurch, the coast and the shared paths. Hired from a real bike shop and checked by our mechanics before every ride. Helmet and lock included.
Choose your bike:
- Merida BIG.SEVEN 300 (Small) – a light, comfortable aluminium hardtail that's great for gravel paths and the Port Hills. 27.5" wheels, Shimano Deore 20-speed gearing, air suspension fork with lockout and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. Rear carrier, gel seat & computer fitted. Merida recommends riders about 167–183cm.
- Pedal Breeze 1 (Small, Pink or Medium, Sage) – a relaxed, easy-going cruiser for rides around town, along the beach and on the shared paths. Super-low step-through frame, upright riding position, Shimano 7-speed twist shift and mechanical disc brakes.
We have one of each bike available.
What to bring: photo ID. Riders must be 18 or over.
Bike Pick Up: Monday-Friday (anytime after 9am) Saturday (anytime after 10am)
Bike Drop Off: Monday-Friday (must be back by 5pm) Saturday (must be back by 3pm)
